Niche Marketing: Where The Gold Can Be Found

Simple Steps to Success in Niche Marketing

  1. Niche Marketing BusinessDefine your niche and there needs.
  2. Talk the language of your niche
  3. “Hang out” where your niche is on the Internet
  4. Create Content targeted towards your niche
  5. Post content on the Internet and link it to your services, products, website
  6. Be consistent and as your content grows so will your traffic

Here is an in depth explanation of a few of these steps.

Step 3

Discover where your niche market likes to socialize on the Internet and then join those sites.  This is important since it will do no good to be somewhere that your target market never goes.  Example: my niche is Small Business Owners so I use LinkedIn, FaceBook, and Twitter.  Every industry has social sites on the Internet.

Step 4

This is the most important step – create content that your target market is looking for.  The content needs to be around what they are searching for on the Internet.  The content also needs to be in the format that your target market likes to consume.  If you are marketing to young people you need to be using Video and Podcasting as well as written forms of content.

Step 5

Post this content all over the Internet and create links back to your website, services page, product page, etc.  Some good places to use are HubPages, Squidoo, EzineArticles, GoArticles, ArticleDashboard, your Blog, free blogs that come with your social networking sites – this is just a few of the hundreds of places to post content.  Then go to Hellotxt.com or Ping.fm and announce the article to all of the sites you belong to.
